I'm considering a carbon rigid fork for my Optimo for winter training.

Is there an adapter for a 1 1/8 fork, or do I need to install a new head set, like the one from Cane Creek?

Thanks

Pick it.

You can use a reducing headset, or get reducer cups so you can use a standard headset.

What fork are you considering?

What's the easiest option - cups or a new headset? And where to get it...?

I'm looking at Aprebic's carbon fork, with A-C at 42 mm. It won't alter the geometry, is under $100 at Ebay and around 750 grams.

The reducer cups can be ordered from lots of places. QBP carries them, so any shop can order them.

Cane creek, Fsa, and Woodman make direct headsets for this application.
