I'm asking for a little advice. I currently ride a size 18 2005 element and am able to get a good deal on a size 19 used 2008 element 90 . Unfortunately, the bike is on the other side of the country and I do not know anyone with a 19 inch 2008 element frame, so I'm unable to ride it to get a feel for it. I'm 5 "8 with short legs and a long torso. I do not feel strechted out at all with a 100mm stem and thomson layback post on my current ride. Since there is no archive on Rocky's website, I'm unable to compare the geometry between the 2 bikes and can't seem to find the geometry for my current ride anywhere. Did the geometry change alot between 2005 and 2008 with the redesign? Would a 19 be too stretched and have too high a standover, or would going to a 0 offset post work with a 100mm stem? How much would the handling be altered with a 0 offset post? It is a really good deal worth seriously considering if the cockpit can be fine tuned without affecting the handling too much. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I'm 5'9" and have ridden 19, 18 and 16.5
19 is best for me
how much seat post do you have showing with 18? I am near limit with 330mm post (post just protrudes past top tube/seat tube junction).
stand over height is over rated.
but if you don't see much seat post on your current 18" then 19" likely won't wokr
