Thanks Brian. We're going back in the Fall sometime and I'll keep you in the loop on that. The Ventana is not built yet, though I'm still slowly but surely collecting the parts to finish it.

It's weird, today we were in the "mountains" and the parking area for the trailhead was chock-full.

You need to go to the "good" parts of the mountains.

On Friday there was nobody at the trailhead and we only saw two hikers (on the PCT of all places) and one fisherman during a 4 1/2 hour ride...

We were at "hole in the ground" and therefore the massive amounts of people.
