I'll be riding the NorthShore sometime this week and i'm wondering if anyone else plans on? I'll be riding solo but if anyone wants to meet up I'd love to. I'm not the fastest but I want to get into racing so I am pushing myself and if I rode with someone faster then me it woul be great:)

I haven't decided what day i'll be going up but i'm planning on tommorow trying out the bus's as I'll be hiking/riding up and down the shore. I'm planning on riding Seymour mainly. I won't have a camera with me so I won't be able to get any pics eather sadly.

I'm near seymour and I have a DH rig, so I walk up or shuttle.
Send me a pm if you want to ride.

I've been wanting to go there for a long time...cash flow problem prohibits :(
@crawler7000

I'll definitly send you a PM when I decide what day i'll be riding:)

@vyper005

I have a oldish 5 megapixel cam I can take up but its going to take crappy shots but I can try:)
I'll be going riding tommorow with my mom or dad shuttling me so if anyone is riding also we maybe can meetup. I may end early and try going over to the woodlot in mapleridge but thats undecided. My bro may be joining me and taking some pictures so I may just session some drops/gaps.

I'll be riding Mt. Seymour and possibly Fromme depending if I can pursuade my parents to be ok with driving up a dirt road.:rolleyes:
You can't shuttle Fromme, and Seymour is paved all the way up.

I know seymour is paved as I've shuttled it before but can't you drive up on the main access/dirt road on Fromme?

Is the woodlot in maple ridge shuttle possible or is it all ride up and ride down?

Sorry, much like Fromme you have to earn your downhill in the Woodlot.
Damn that sucks I guess thats for a day when i have lots of energy as my bike's 42lbs and it took me a hour and a half to climb seymour to top of corkscrew....

URGENT: I want to ride Neds and i'm just wondering whats the easiest way to get from the end of the trail or where it meets TNT to old buck parking lot? As my dad will be waiting there.
Get your dad to wait on Riverside Drive, not Old Buck if you are riding Neds. The trail dumps you out on the completely other side of the mountain, and the ride back along the road can take a while. Run CBC to Corkscrew or Incline, then Neds. I would totally give you a tour but my shoulder is messed up at the moment.

Most riders are pretty chill, so if you are nice and if you can keep up, you can probably find somebody to help get you back to Old Buck if need be - just explain your situation and ask nicely. Gratuitous offerings of beer/gas money helps too.

And as mentioned before, both Fromme and the Woodlot are not shuttle friendly. You earn your turns, but it is well worth it in both places.

which trail do connects with Riverside Drive as I'm looking at the map but i'm confused of which road is riverside Dr.
This may be too late, but Riverside Drive is toward the Superstore as you come from Hwy 1. It is basically at the bottom of Neds.

That's how you know it's the Shore! did you get to experience the dreaded "Dansition" (drop to an uphill landing)?

I believe the correct terminology is "dorp to falt"
all this canada-land riding talk makes me jealous. just had to say it
