A group is doing Squirrel gap/black mtn..one of the best rides in pisgah but you prolly should have a guide if you dont know the route...

I am coming out to Pisgah for the first time on Sat morning. Realistically, I'll be ready to ride at 10:00-11:00 am as I'll be driving from the Raleigh area. I'd like to hook up with that group ride that is posted but I don't know if I can get there that early. I will also need to camp somewhere on Sat night. I want to ride Sunday too but I need to be back in Hickory for a teacher conference by 4:00 on Sunday. Let me know if this sounds like it will work. I'm 40, been riding for nearly 20 years (in PA - I've only been in NC for a year), and will not hold anybody up unless they are riding at a race pace, in which case I'll be a minute or two behind.
