Hey guys,
so it's a possibility I'll be moving to the Twin Cities area this summer. I haven't been in the area since I was a kid and don't really remember much. Is there any good riding in the area, preferably more all-mountain oriented?

Also, are there any lifted parks within 6ish hours or less? I've got a DH bike that I would be heartbroken to not be able to ride

Duluth is probably the closest you are going to come to all-mountain riding. MSP has some ski "hills" such as Buck Hill that offer mountain biking though not sure if they are lift serviced for biking. You could ride up them quite easily as they are short runs.

Duluth is the only DH nearby at this time. Buck Hill is only open for races. Afton has some trails. I wouldn't call Afton or Buck DH trails though. The new Cottage Grove jump park will open this summer and is going to be pretty cool. The Twin Cities probably has the most miles of cross country singletrack inside a metro area in the US, but no DH or AM.
