Cheers guys, Yeah the hikers are always cool in france. There have been a few occasions were they all start clapping and cheering! Wish it was like that here in the Lake District.

I don't have any input on this for you, sorry. I have an old Float 36 RC2 from '07 on my Nomad. I have NO idea how good the new stuff is.
What I can say is ping Bullcrew on the DH forum. He's had extensive testing on a Float 36 180mm. And, if you look around on the DH forum, you should be able to find his writeup on the fork.
