We checked out the new downhill trails at Horseshoe today. Had to do a qualifier ride test to determine ability and then we were good to go. Trails had a variety of features both man made and natural that were both fun and good to learn and practice on. The condition of the trails were immaculate and fast and flowy, The new trails that aren't ready yet. look like they will be a blast.
The trail crew put in alot of effort into to make this a great ride.
The staff were super courteous and very professional... going out of their way to help. I'll certainly go back.

so lets just say that somebody hits one of the features on the qualifier course at the wrong angle or for some reason your taking it too lightly and screwing around and fall for some reason, are the guys there like "see ya later, these trails are too hard for you" or "go try it again till you get it"?

I rode with the coaches at Blue when they were assessing some younger riders. One of the coaches told me that most times they refused people a pass, it was a relief to the rider, since they had been scared shitless. They want to see that you can ride in control, know how to brake and most of all stay within your abilities. They are particularly on the lookout for young people riding faster than they know how to.

If they refuse you, they will probably suggest you take a lesson and come back to try it again. It is not at all rocket science.

Woah, it's my office! How did you guys get in there?

If I knew you were coming out I would have done a few laps with you, but I was laying in the sun all morning, whoops.

We are making constant improvements - that entrance in the picture changed today - we cut the post and put in a proper closing gate. We also made the 2nd entrance and put up the signage as well as cleared the trail to that feature, as well as added ANOTHER qualifier to trail 3.

We are opening another trail for this weekend, will be missing the key feature (a 90 degree wallride/berm) but that will be added instantly.

If any members come out, please let me know. I'd like to personally meet you guys and even take you on a tour and just shoot the breeze. Also if anyone happens to work in the industry, ohmygod send me a message.
