Riding around Safford

Does anyone know of any trails around the Safford area? There are a couple on the top of Mt. Ghram but there is no access to them right now because of snow. I was just wondering if there was down the mountian. I am new to the MTB scene and having a blast riding but it gets a little expensive having to gas up the truck and travel a couple hours to ride every weekend. Thanks in advance for any help.
