went out to the trails today. didn't have a shuttle or anyone else to ride with so, took along the camera and just took vids of myself on certain parts of some of the trails and stuff. really awesome time actually...got some alright short footage. i didn't have a tripod or anything to set the camera on so it was all done by setting it just right on my backpack or rocks. awesome time....hope it turned out ok. pretty short but it was the most i could get. today was one of the last rides on my m1...definetly showed where im going to miss it and where im going to love to be rid of it:D insanely awesome bike, but the VPF will be along sometime soon.

Cool

That was cool. I was solo at Diablo yesterday. No one I really know saw me hit that top Progression Drop. :(
I should have filmed it like that!

your shots and angles are good.

it would view a lot better if you trimmed the clips down to remove the parts where you are not in shot.

admittedly the video would half in size, but it would play a whole lot better and you could join the clips in such a way as to make it look like you filmed as you progress through the the trail.,

i.e. in some shots you travel from left to right - if you combined a lot of these one after the other in short succession, then you would imply you are cycling from one shot straight into the next in one single go.

good though!

ya it isn't too bad if you can find something to put your camera on, or have a tripod. that top drop in all those diablo pics is definetly legit, very nice:thumbsup:

thanks, ya the clips were all around 2 minutes or so long originally because i would have to run back up to stop the camera:D . i just editted it pretty quick so the transitions weren't horribly long. definetly good ideas, i'll try that on the next one.

Noice, looks like fun! What trails in JMP did you shoot the vid on? Last time I was there, there were soooo many people...
well the first one i don't even no what the actual name is, it isn't very popular because the entrance is kind of hidden near the road. the others were taken in the forest on all the lines you can take in there.

Anyone have any ideas why I can hear the audio but can't see the video. I'm on a week old new XP machine at work. I hate freeking Windows. Bet I go home and the windows media file will play on my mac. Anyway if anyone knows give me a hollar, i'd like to see it before I leave work.

where is the trailhead for the trail clips? Is it around the rangerstation, by Cinderella,or what? looks prety sweet but ive never hit it
it starts right on the main street outside the arena area. its kind of hard and hidden. it is like 200ft from the openning of the arena if you are turning right to head in.
