I posted a while back that I got a '96 Gary Fisher Mamba from my bro, and was fixing it up. I finally got it done. So, me and my son went for a little spin yesterday to make sure every thing was in order. It performed without a hitch. Not bad considering it is pretty much stock except for new tires and replaced shifters, cables and brake shoes. We rode a bike path (paved... oh! the horror:yikes: ) by my house and rode for about thirteen miles round trip. Not a huge ride but it was fun and we managed to get it done before the thermometer hit the century mark. When we left the house at about 7:00 am it was already 83*!
Anyway, it was a fun ride and now we can start riding regularly again. Here is a pic of our rides this particular day.
