Anyone interested in joining me and Patti and Rix-ster for a DC ride C2C from the ramada's on Pima Rd. We will ride around 10 am.

I might be taking a road trip with my Patti up to the rim to play in the white stuff, but if that falls through I will probably join you. Do you think parking at Pima at that time will be a big hassle? That's the lot to access the fireroad to National/Mormon on the very east side right? Sorry, I don't get out there that much and always get the lot names confused :crazy:

I might join you as well, forgive me for sounding like a newbie but what does C2C mean and how many miles do you generally ride?

c2cmeans coast to coast. on the trail that means all the way out and back on a particular trail. DC is about 9 ish miles each way depending on what options if any you ride. but yeah, plan on at least 18 miles, unless you want to head back, which is very doable on this out and back. :cornut:

I don't know for sure cuz I've only ridden with Rix-ster before but I would say probably no faster than B- pace. I don't think anyone would mind if you wanted to break off at some point. I've not been on the bike in a couple weeks so I know I'm probably going to be a bit slow.

Well, if you pull my arm.... Desert Classic would be a nice way to ease into vacation mode and get the legs used to pedaling again. I'll roll from my house around 9:30 and head east to meet ya'll at the parking lot. If I'm not there on time just start the ride and I'll meet you somewhere along the way.
