I'm sure some of you are familiar with Richard Proenneke and maybe have read his book about him "One Man's Wilderness: An Alaskan Odyssey" by Sam Keith or watched the movie. There was another book that the NPS published called: "More Readings from One Man's Wilderness: The Journals of Richard L. Proenneke 1974-1980". I saw it at Title Wave for $35, but I just found a copy (in PDF format) on a NPS website for free (MORE BEER MONEY! :rockon: )
