Sorry for the late notice posting this here. We're hosting part one of our Winter Warmer Ride Series at Lincoln Woods, 5 miles north of Providence, RI. Part II will likely occur at Burlingame State Park in February.

Anyways, here's the low down: (also at rinemba.org)

This is a fundraiser for the RI Foodbank. There is no cost to ride but please bring some canned goods and some cash to donate. We will also hold a raffle, tickets will be $1 as per usual. Big thanks to EFTA for helping out with the insurance!

More info below:

Sunday 12/14 at Lincoln Woods State Park in Lincoln, RI.

What to bring: Your bike, a helmet and some canned goods for the RI Food Bank.

Why: This is a good time to avoid Big River & Arcadia because of shot gun season (6th -14th on public lands)

Cost: Nothing, just bring some canned food. There will be a raffle to raise some cash for the RI Food Bank.

Registration: 9-11:00 AM.

1 arrowed loop: 10 miles with plenty of rocks and climbs to keep it interesting.

Please note: Arrows come down at 2:00!

Post ride Chili and goodies!

Raffle items will be supplied by our great sponsors (Providence Bicycle, Narragansett Bikes, Ski Market and Victory Cycles). Please support the local shops that keep RI riding!!

Directions:

Twin River Road Exit off of Rte 146 North or South. Head due East straight into the park, take a right at the kiosk/stop sign and travel approximately .2 miles. We will be set up near the double parking lots on the left. This is the same general area where we meet for the Friday rides.
