I'm a 6ft, 260 lbs (and dropping) Clyde ready to get a new crackset.
I've looked at the Atlas and Diabolus pretty closely. I ride very aggressive XC/all-mountain/light FR, after putting a Fox 36 Van on my Heckler last year I've become 'aware' of it's weight. I'm leaning towards the Atlas and installing a polycarb bash guard (the large ring becomes a defacto bash ring anyways).
My main attraction to the Atlas over the Diabolus is the 1/2 lbs weight advantage which will be handy here in the Oregon mountains. Am I missing anything that would sway my opinion towards the Diabolus?
