Has anyone tried using stans latex with Bontrager Revolt Super X (non-UST) tires. I have some old Rolf Dolomite Tubeless wheels and I was considering using Stans goop and the Revolts on them. I only need them to hold for a 24 hour race.

same question for Stans with Hutchinson Python Lite tires (non UST)

Can stans even be used with those tires.

Thanks.

revolt super x and stans

I ran stans with bontrager tires last season. I ran them on bontrager race x-lite wheels and used stans sealant and the stans rimstrips.

I had a revolt super x as a rear tire on one wheelset and then had Jones ACX 2.1's on a front and rear wheel. and a Jones ACX 2.2 on the other front wheel.

All the tires were the light weight folding bead versions.

I did not have any issues with this setup. The previous season, I tried to run the ACX with out the rim strip, and got air burp durring a race, when I got the front wheel turned sideways.

This year I am trying the Bontrager Tubeless ready tires. They are regular tires with a tubeless bead. So far so good.
