I think I saw a thread about this before but couldn't find it. If the compression knob is all the way to the negative there is no sound from the fork but as you increase the compression dampning about mid way the fork starts to make a loud squish sound. Is this something that goes away after a while or some dumb thing that will always be a fact of this fork?

Mine does it too

And I figure its just the way it works. When you increase compression you're limited how much fluid is being moved through the damper. A little noise is inevitable. You won't hear it too much on the trail though.

That's just how the fork works. It's the oil moving through the orifice.
