Well, since my single speed Haro frame is trash (drive side rear dropout is wallowed out) now and I have a 12 hour race in the next couple of months, I'm building up my 1998 Kilauea frame. Definitely 69er so I can salvage the front fork and wheel from the Haro. Also, I'm thinking 1x9 instead of the singlespeed thing. Don't worry about that rear wheel and cassette, that's just to get her off the ground for a few weeks. And the fridge is not for sale, lol

That chick on the fridge has sweet abs.

Shouldn't have to worry about banging the crank arms on anything. Post up the final build and have fun...

I'm sorry, but that is a seriously bad idea. They design 29er frames with steep head angles, because they need to counteract the effect of the bigger wheel, which inherently slows down the handling.

By fitting a 29er fork, you have landed yourself with a very shallow head angle, the opposite of what you need.
