So long story short I need to replace the crank on my Hardrock, and I'm not sure what kind my bike has. JIS or PS? My local bikeshop quoted me $70 for the repair before labor. I would rather buy it and replace it myself. Any insight on this?

Shimano FC-M341-8, replaceable rings, Octalink Spline
Shimano BB-ES25, Octalink spline, cartridge bearing, 68 x 126mm for 50mm chainline

I would just get this:
http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/16...6-Cranks/Bolts/Race-Face-Ride-XC-Crankset.htm

it is super easy to install, provided you have the right tools
What about http://www.bikeparts360.com/products/truvativ-isoflow-3.0-crankset?
The current crank only has pedal thread damage and I would like to simply replace it with the same part.
