Hi Guys n Gals,

I have the following at the moment:-

Rear Derailleur
"Shimano Acera
RD-M340
24 Speed"

Front Derailleur
"Shimano FD-TY 10
31.8mm"

Shifters
"Shimano ST-EF50-8R
EZ-fire plus"

...and sick of my chain failling off when doing changes. Therefore, I am looking at replacing the derailleurs.

I would like people to give me some recommendations for changing to something that will help me make quick smooth changes without fear of the chain coming off and making a noise... I am into offroad MTB biking, please can you help? My budget is around £250ish

Your gear might be fine but just needing adjustment, maybe improved shifting technique. Don't know what UK prices are like particularly, but Chain Reaction Cycles seems to have great deals on Shimano stuff. The higher end Shimano groups are 9 speed, so add at least a new cassette and chain into the equation for your budget.
