Lateral stiffness wise, its a 32mm stanchion tube fork and it will be just as stiff as any other 32mm fork. I believe there is 2 versions for 2011, air and coil. If you got the coil version, you would want to replace the coil with a stiffer one. You might be able to find a good deal on a Manitou Drake (called a Minute expert for 2011) which is a step up from the match in materials. Other then those two forks, the Rock Shox Tora is a good deal, but has a much lower end damper since they dropped the Tora 318 from their line up. Look around for something used as well. Plenty of good deals to be had.
