I am new to this forum. I have owned (since new) an original, mint condition version of this bike found here...

I was "counting clicks" on the "custom Progressive 5th Element Air 150mm Travel" rear shock. When doing so, the knob came out in my hand. I cannot simply re-screw the knob back in because the hole has been filled by what looks like a ball bearing.
The shock measures 8.75" x 2.5". I am hoping someone has real world experience with a currently available, bolt on, rear shock replacement or knows of someone who can restore the OEM shock.
