For the second time since I bought the 08 Yukon 2 weeks ago I've cooked the front fork. Its my noob bike, but I'm finding as I get a little confidence those 4 and 5 foot drops don't seem so high anymore! Unfortunately this bike doesnt feel the same way. Other than the default "get a new bike dude!" does anyone have any suggestions for a new fork I can buy that wont earn me a spot in the shop once a week?

Thanks in advance

your fork

is a 100mm XC design. 4' + drops aren't XC.

You'll need a (maximum) 120mm fork that is coil. I don't know the fork lines well any more as there are too many models and changes every year.

However, if you continue to do major drops on the Yukon, expect it to fail, it's a trail bike and isn't designed to take the repeated stresses of drops and hucks.
