Replacement fork for a Manitou Mach V

1272 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  sithlord3
I have a 1994 Barracuda 'Cuda Comp that I mainly ride around town but the fork is gone and I need to replace. It originally have a Manitou Comp and I replaced it with a Mach 5 in 1996. I think the fork travel was either 61mm or 65mm. Does anyone know where I can get a fork that has this little travel anymore? I would love to find another Mach 5 in new or very good condition or even a rebuild kit and elastomers or spring replacement.

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

It is a 1 1/8" diameter.
Okay, the one I've got sitting in the parts bin is a 1.25" steerer, and I don't remember: is the triple crown removable? Check your old fork. I've got spare bumpers and parts for the Mach 5.
I just mistyped, it is a 1.25" dia steerer tube. Can you pm me details on how I could purchase that fork. Thanks
