I'm needing to replace the bottom bracket on my 2006 Truvativ Stylo crankset. Can I use a Shimano BB such as this...http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=41445 or do I need to get another one from Truvativ?

Can't use the Shimano. Need to go for Truvativ, or another brand that makes Truvativ specific BB's - Chris King, Enduro, etc. I have a CK bottom bracket for Truvativ cranks that has worked well for me. The Chris King is user serviceable(with special grease tool), so it won't need to be replaced, like the Truvativ GXP bb.

I replaced mine with an SKF ISIS BB. Any ISIS BB will work, but you could spend a bit more for a really good one. MBTandems carries the SKF. I have had mine for 3 years and it is beautiful.
