I need to replace rings on LX square taper crankset, 97-99 or so. Anyone give advice? BCD?

You can easily measure the BCD.

The model number of the crank should help too and it is usually stamped on the inside of of one of the crank arms.

Advice: might be cheaper to just get new crankset.

I have an extra 104/64 spider for the older LX cranks so you can use regular chainrings if you're interested. But I agree, often it's cheaper to buy a new crankset than just the replacement rings.
