Does clicking on the little scale icon give someone Rep points for their post, or for them in general? It seems I have rep points for individual posts, that don't match the rep number listed next to my name... so I'm a little bit confused...

Edit:
Oh, I get it, the one next to my name is rep power. (weight given to rep I give others yada yada)

Does that mean, the other kind only applies to each individual post? Kinda like the "Like" button in Facebook?
