I'm in town from Virginia visiting the Oceanside/Cardiff area for the week and have been trying to find places to rent full suspension mountain bikes. I went to a couple bike stores and was recommended North of the Border Bikes, but when I called they said didn't rent. I have access to a vehicle so driving within an hour or so isn't bad, especially considering I'll have to drive to the trails.

Any suggestions on where to rent? Or does anyone in the area have some extra bikes and need a riding buddy? :thumbsup:

An hour drive from Oceanside if you miss traffic, but great riding is nearby--Santa Ana mountains, many beach canyon/ridge areas. Maybe grab a guide book at the shop. Cheers.

Calcoast in the Northpark area (805 and 8) has quality bikes for rent (Ibis for sure, maybe Giant) as does B and L bikes (5 and Rosecrans-Specialized). Maybe try Black Mountain bikes...
