Bars are 31.8 or 35. Not 30.9

Stems are measured parallel to the axis of the stem, from center of the steerer to the center of the bars.

Many riders feel that 35mm bars are very stiff and ride harshly.
I have no experience with this firsthand. Only what I read from other’s sharing their experience.

Personally, I very much like my 0-deg 70mm Thomson X4 stem, and have never felt like my carbon handlebars lacked stiffness.

I don’t see the point in 35mm clamps. It makes mounting things like lights, gps and GoPros difficult because I’d have to buy new brackets.
