Im using WTB All terrainasuaras's on my CX bike for commute and dirt duty. I ran over a piece of wire about 3 weeks ago. When i first inspected the tire casing i found and removed what i thought was the piece of wire.
Since then ive had two slow flats which tells me i didnt get all the wire out of the casing. Ive turned the tire inside out and used a magnifying glass to inspect the tire but can find the culprit. I can locate the approximate location of puncture but not the wire. Im looking for ideas on how to get to the wire and remove it.

Its either look for it or trash the tire because this is getting rediculous.

Yeah, I think this is more about the tire than the situation. I've had similar issues with my 26" All-Terrainasaurauses.

Getting different tires that didn't flat every day even though I couldn't find anything in the tires.

Coulda Been the Wire

Wire is nasty stuff, it can even flatten car tires....at the places that shred up old tires down to,small chunks, the pieces of wire from the chopped up radial tires cause car flats all the time.
