I'd like to remove these posts only because they are not needed. Cosmetic I guess. Anything I can put in place of them? I think they need to stay in place for the fork to hold air.

Also any suggestions for products to hold brake hose? I just picked up a hope mono mini for what its worth

Call Marzocchi and order the brake boss replacement. You cannot remove the brake studs without re-installing them or installing the replacement bolt. These are structural bolts that attach the upper brace to the lowers.
