A few of us are headed north to 'The City Different' and were wondering if todays rain has affected the trails at all...thanks!
Ask and ye shall recieve! REM is in AWESOME shape. The good thing about having a trail become "known" is that it actually gets ridden. All the traffic has really packed in the trail nicely. We even saw some hikers venturing down further into the canyon. And the conditions were perfect:thumbsup: Had a cool breeze with some moderate cloud cover on the way up and as we crested more clouds rolled in making for a sweet, cool descent. I figured you would have seen the thread and wanted to tag along. I will see you later, I hope. After yesterdays ride, I may just drop in at North Faulty. Anyone want to join me and shuttle us back at the end? I really want to scout North Faulty.bcd said:one of my fav trails. i did two runs on this in one day. totally dead after that.

Foothills , looking for something more AM on the Nomad if you know what I mean. Maybe if you and Bryan bring your big bikes. I still do not have my hardtail built up and Bryan said for some of that stuff I will need a hardtail.shile said:Man, what a fun ride. Bruce, excellent pics and brew...thanks. The weather and scenery were A+. All except for the roughest and rockiest parts, the HT was ok and I managed to only break a bottle cage. I think I popped 1000MG+ of ibuprofen that day. Still amazes me that Bryan can drink, smoke cigarettes and ride uphill like that...
Rick, me and Bryan are riding NFH tomorrow afternoon (Wed.) from Embudito to the tram...no dabs.
