Reign owners! what do you think about using a Marzocchi Roco Air as a rear shock?? Roco Air does not have a platform like the stock Manitou Swinger 3way, but I've seen Reign setup with coil spring with out the platform also. what do you think guys is it doable?

i've thought about it also, but i believe the main advantage of running a rocco air on others bikes is that it is designed to be linear in its travel. Since the reign already has a fairly linear suspension, i don't think there would be any advantage in running that shock. If only there was a way to run the rocco coil tst or wc version, i would be really interested.

correct me if i'm wrong but coil spring are linear also and I saw some Reign owners using coil spring on their rear suspension. they said that Rocco air mimicks a coil spring suspension.

I'm thinking of just going to Marzocchi and have them install it on my Reign to test since they're just 10 minutes away from where I live. that would be nice if it works.

shoot if you're that close, give it a try... i wonder if they would let you test one out.. the coil shocks i'd be interested in would need to have compression and rebound adjustment, not just rebound like the vanilla r has in that thread.
