REI Donates $10,000 to CLIMB
REI is coming to Long Island and they are doing it in style.
CLIMB was contacted awhile back because REI is opening a store on Long Island and they wanted to support a local non-profit trails organization.
REI has a strong history of giving back to the communities in which they do business.
CLIMB submitted a proposal and we were selected to receive a $10,000 grant to start things off.
The new REI store will be located in Carl Place and is due to open in late spring.
Not only will REI be providing regular grants and swag but they also encourage their employees to volunteer time on the trails.
This is going to be a great year for CLIMB and we want to thank all our business sponsors who have donated to CLIMB this year and all years past.
