So I just converted to ghetto tubeless yesterday and it went pretty well-20 in tubes, Specialized Enduro tires, about 2 oz Stans in each. Seems good so far...

Then on my other bike (with tubes) I got a puncture today and I was wondering... would regular tires and tubes with stan's be pretty much "bullet-proof"? Or would the powder inside the tube just make a big mess? This bike is a hardtail with panaracer rampages. It sees pavement and dirt, roughly 50/50.

Maybe I'll just go ahead and convert that bike, too, when I get 2 more 20 inch tubes.

Opinions?

Yeah, I'll probably get two more 20" tubes and convert the other bike... I was just thinking that tubes AND sealant might be a super-reliable commuter/beater bike set-up.
