I just got a new bike and I was stripping it off its refelctors, but I couldnt get the god damn ones off of the wheels :madman: I took a hamer to them on my old bike, but that bent a couple of spokes, so how the hell do i get them off without destroying the wheel?

I use a pair of pliers and break, twist--gently mind you--the back side of the reflector. Likewise on spoke protector thingies behind the rear cogs--usually you can brak em up good enough to get it off. But sometimes I will just leave the spoke protector shield on. Reflectors gotta go though.

there should just be a white bolt that holds them onto the spokes. remove that (with a large screwdriver or vice grips) and it should come off.

There was a screw-shaped thing in the back of the reflectors on the wheels of my old bike, give it a quarter turn, and the reflectors would come off, maybe try that?

Yup. Use a flat-blade screwdriver.

If you don't have that then use a dime. Dime as in 10 cent coin, not the other kind.
