Reduce Marzocchi Marathon travel?

I did a quick search and found nothing, but wouldn't doubt it's been addressed before. Therefore I will issue apologies ahead of time if that's so, and just ask to be directed.

Anyway, my question is this: does there exist a spacer kit to reduce the travel of the Marathon SL from 105 to 80-85 mm travel? If so, where can I get one?
The 105 travel height slows the steering more than I want to contend with on my Zion EBB. Riding Saturday with it locked out, the bike handled nice and quick as opposed to wallowing in the turns. This is confirmation to me that reducing the travel is desirable for this bike setup.

There's a thread below, where a guy wants to increase his travel. Maybe you two should trade your forks.

I believe the 105 is adjustable down to 85mm. At least I recall that from speaking to Marzocchi on the phone. There is an internal spacer you need to remove or reverse. Try giving their tech depart ment a call or shoot them an e-mail. They have been extremely helpful. Thanks for that direction Lush. I think at this point, it's time to give them a call. There is an item on their website in response to the travel change inquiry stating that there is no kit available for the 2004 models, but modifications to the damper or cartridge can accomplish the objective.
