My redline monocog came with redline hubs and they are loose after a year of riding and I have heard the same thing from many people. The bearings are pitted and the cones are shot, both need replacement and it will probably happen in time again if I replace them.

I read in the single speed forum to immediately regrease upon reception of hubs. Longevity is supposed to be increased.

I guess not unlike Deore hubs.

Or any hub, especially loose ball cup and cone hubs. Ignore them and they go away. Service them regularly and they can last a very long time.
