Great colour contrast :)
Too much penalty for failure, for me, Steve and Erik. Like in dead. No way someone 6'5" can ride under that Hangover, nor should I have to crawl on my hands and knees to make it either.
That place looks great, i really fancy getting a steel jones too.
Is the extra weight of the fat front wheel noticable?
That was the funnest day I have had on a bike in
....

Great shots, but I suspect you are still holding out.

I don't know if I still have what it takes to stare down the maul of the monster. Age has caused me to reevaluate risk and reward more carefully these days.

Steve is far from an ordinary rider, he could drop that blindfolded, plus he has an extremely refined sense of balance that I don't. Not anywhere the same caliber or league of rider that he is . Have to be honest with my skills assessment on me.
Those shots look great! The riding is pretty OK too
Here's Eric dropping in.

I first saw this roll-in 3 years ago. I watched some locals hit it. Try as I might...I just could not let go of the brakes and commit. It's obviously waaaay steeper than these vids and pics depict. The mind fock is that should the bike get away from you...things will get ugly in a hurry. You, and the bike could very easily end up hundreds of yards down a steep sandstone abyss.

And, a tricky alternate drop in. Steep, and loose!

Got it!

The alt line is the safest and least exposed, but it is surely the trickiest way to ride from the saddle to the trail.

Interestingly, the straight down move, for all the pucker of the exposure directly in front of you is the easiest.

The stiff Jones front end made it all that much easier. That is the first time I have ever been able to commit to the last portion.
