Are you planning on doing mostly XC with some playing around or mostly playing around (i.e. Enduro 30lbs or SX Trail 38lbs)? I probably can't make it but I'm working on it. If I can I'd meet at the RM trailhead at 12:30.

Yeah, Neal mine is 38lbs and I don't mind tugging it around 'just in case'. We are anticipating 3-4 hr ride with little gain and somewhere in the 12-14 mile range. How's Ben, can you bring him along?

I got shut down on going to RM :madman: . I'll be hitting the snow at Pajarito with the family instead. Maybe next time...

It's been a while since I've ridden RM but the last time I went we found some really cool drops and slick rock. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures.

I assumed you got another Enduro when I saw you yesterday. Definitely envious of the SJ Pro. Been looking for the same thing myself, but can't seem to find one set up the way I'd like it - or possibly, I'm not sure how I'd like it to be set up. I'd like to see yours when you get it out on the trail.

Nice Pics :thumbsup: . I wish I could have made it. The snow sucked today and one of Ben's friends had to go to the hospital with a concussion (he even had a helmet on :madman: ).

I was just going through my old pictures and it was actually 2002 the last time I was out there. When we were there last there was a sort of centralized area of dirt hills the trials riders used for climbing and there were some nice sized drops with good dirt landings. Did you happen to run across this area?

I can tell from the pics about where it is, but I have never been there. Ricky and I scouted a 15' drop off of the top of one of the mini mesas. The landing just needs to be dug out a little, but its big (for us anyway). Looks to be close to what the drop would be to the riders right in your last picture off of the 'point'. We saw an amazing amount of slick rock to the north of the p-lot, inside the gate. I have some more info.

Glad you found the slick rock. Think I forgot to tell you about that though... Did you find the slot canyon? Was thinking that a trail along the ridge would be interesting. Perhaps one of you crazies could "jump the ditch" where the canyon narrows.

We ventured into a quite a few of those canyons. You did tell me about it and thats why we headed that way, although too late in the ride to really do any good recon. ....oh, and RCC had a blowout:madman:
