I was today years old when I noticed that Rock Shox, Fox, and X-fusion all use red for rebound adjusters and blue for compression. Anybody else?

(Actually, I noticed this about a month ago but I wasn't bored enough to post it at the time)

And then Fox uses - for less and + for more and RS uses rabbit for faster ( fox -) and turtle for slower ( fox +) which can be a bit confusing

I noticed that too about 6 months ago. I looked at some of my older RS stuff, and there it was: antlers I never noticed.

Actually, what I meant was what do the other companies do? I think DVO uses green for rebound and green for compression, lol. I think I have seen Manitous that have it backwards, blue rebound and red compression.

Manitou uses blue for rebound, red for LS compression and black for HS compression.

I'm trying to think of the first Manitou which followed that scheme and I can't remember.

Fox are now fitting orange dials when the "authorised" service centre services them for this month only. Pistachio 38's and white/grey 40's all came with black compression dials.

My first Manitou had red elastomers that didn't seem to have much to do with compression or rebound damping
