Most people go up chimney and down apex, since apex is a better descent. It normally takes less than an hour and a half at a moderate pace, including enchanted forest. My guess with a group is between 1-1/2 and 2 hrs..

Sounds about right for time -- we could bang it out in pretty short order if needed but we will be dragging this loser dude from Ashville around tomorrow morning. Start at Apex, take Kinney Run bike path (right name?) to Golden. Up Chimney Gulch. Lookout Mtn Trail (follows lookout mtn rd) to Apex. Down Enchanted forest is the plan.
