I'm currently riding a 16" zaskar frame and I stand at 5' 10". I have a spare 18 inch frame that I'm thinking about swapping out. Does anybody know what are recommended sizes for per height? Also, what size does a 16" frame equate to in the XS - XSL sizing that GT now uses.

16"=M. I'd say it depends upon your inseam. If your on the leggy side...32 inseam you might like an 18 with a tad shorter stem than you currently ride on you 16.

This is the sizing chart for the 08 Re-Issue frame. I think it follows from 2000 or whenever they changed to letter sizing.

I'm around 5'10 have a medium I-drive Team. My buddy has a large Zaskar Team and I feel better in a medium. Inseam seems to be fine on both bikes. I do prefer my bikes smaller than average. I'd rather get a medium even though I can also ride a large without a problem. I'd say try the 18 and see how it works. Heck, if you don't like it, you can always go back to the 16.

At 5'10", an 18" frame sounds like it would fit better.

5'10" and you ride a 16" - is your seat post 450mm long?
