In the spirit of "bringing something to the table", thought I'd share my recent creation. It's frame #3 for me. First "real" mtn bike. Frame #1 was a cross/commuter. Frame #2 a mtn frame for the better half (but won't see much hard trail time).

I guess I'd qualify as general public here so, yes, he is. I simply emailed him and ordered a set. Great guy to work with and great product. My go-to choice for sliding dropouts.

Cool - I asked him about buying the dropouts a while back and at the time he was only selling to builders with liability insurance. Great to see an excellent dropout design available to a broader base.

My only gripe is that, especially given the price, they *really* should be stainless. Maybe we should all bug him to make some.

It will be painted in a couple of weeks while I'm out of town on vacation. Altho the bare look is cool. Not sure my fillets are worthy of exposing at this point anyway.
