I delted my post. I appologize if any part of my retort was construed as Cannondale hating. I love Cannondale and I think this is a really cool forum, so I hope I can continue the dialouge I have had with many of you already. Later!

With that said, I'm not familiar with the Lefty M but I doubt it can be retrofitted with a current generation Lefty internal. Cannondale have a trade-in program. You give them your old Lefty and get a new one at a reduced price. They are still expensive though. You can also look for a used modern Lefty. You can probably go with a 100/110mm Lefty without problems on your frame as they are not much taller than a Headshok or older Lefty.
Hummm, maineride's post vanished... mods are doing their work it seems.
THere is a Lefty M model that is coil sprung. No lockout, very basic.MendonCycleSmith said:WTF? Tanner I have no idea why this is attracting so many wierdo's, (what's up with kidds response, anyone?) but this forum is normally very civil. drop me a note @[email protected], sounds like you have an oddball on your hands, as they have all had lockout, and are air sprung until the most recent Max generation.
