Rebound for 05 888 vs 06 888 question

seems to me that the rebound on the 05 888's had a wider range - as in you could make the rebound slower - both on the VF and the RC - the VF2 and RCX seem to have less of a range.

anyone screwed with thier to slow down the rebound on the 06 models?
or any suggestion on how to do this ..... i figure heavier oil, but what else?
