Hi,
I've got a 2007 Reba Race Dual Air, which most of the time is locked out for commuting. It seems to have developed a serious creak at what we think is the steerer/crown bonding, which the LBS will confirm shortly.
I'm told that:
* running it locked out most of the time can cause this damage
* fixing it will be uneconomical
* RS return times are long so it'd be away for ages anyway
Does this ring true with anyone? If so, I can't really buy a new fork every year, so are there any forks better suited to being locked out?
Cheers,
Rob
