I'm planning to put a Rock Shock Reba on my '07 El Mariachi.

I have a Chris King headset. Will I need to get a +5mm baseplate (crown race) to ensure that there is no fork crown and downtube interference issues, or will the standard baseplate work?

The frame is properly designed to clear the fork crown and you will not need a +5 crown race.
