Hi there, newbie here with a question...i have an '09 Specialized FSR XC Expert with an X Fusion 02RC rear shock. I weigh ~ 190 lbs and there's 150 lbs pressure in the shock right now. I "bottom-out" about 80% of the travel. I'm looking for the air pressure range i should maintain in the rear shock. Any suggestions of what range i should be at or suggestions/links to sites that could help would be great as well.

Thanks,
Ara

measure your sag. in all likeliness you probably have too much. add air pressure until you're at about 20-25% sag.

if youre still blowing through travel, then start adjusting your compression settings...if you have any.
I'm at about 20% sag.

If by compression settings ur referring to rebound settings/control, then I have it. I think the rebound was set at mid range from the bike shop.

No, rebound is the opposite of compression.

Did you check the manual? I looked on the Specialized website, found and looked in the FSRXC owner's manual (which you should have done before posting here) and it has a page for rear shock setup.
