otay, im gettin meself an 04 kona stinky (the orange one). now my question is do u think that a 5th element shock or any other big ass shock would fit on it?

I've got a fifth element on mine, make sure you go to the progressive website to get all the info for it and mounting position. Other shocks fit too, you could do a thread search to get more info, I did and it was very helpful.

5th?, get a Fox DHX 5.0...

I did. Paid the full $399 (alot less than a 5th, $500+ with eyelets and such). The DHX 5.0 is the best shock I have ever ridden! In my opinion the Pro-Pedal, Boost Valve, and Bottom Out Adjuster are just as effective as a "stable platform" as a 5th element but at alot less cost. So adjustable and plush...there is a reason they come on the Stab Primo, Stinky Supreme, and lots of other badass 2005 bikes.
